Biography
Adam Scott Miller, an acute lifelong visionary artist, has come through art academia from two of the USA's highest regarded art- a BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a MFA in Painting from the Massachusetts College of Art.
Throughout, he has integrated key principles of insight from art, science, and mysticism towards the road less-traveled of honest devotion to limitless growth and dilating creativity. Adam’s paintings are praised globally for their profound degree of technique, concept, and the elegant envisioning of reality as emergent from the unified-field ecology of energy. This integral creative work is how he processes his perceptions of the visible world and the energetic fields from which it blooms forth into numinous vision. The 'numinous' is characterized by the quintessential qualities of the sacred: mystery, awe, fascination, satisfaction, and inspiration.
Presentation
“Reality of Energy and Human Perception”
Saturday, November 13
Part 1
Discourse on “picture theory and the biology of belief”: the evolutionary basis of perception, how we see, what we do not, and methods of accessing visionary perception.
Part 2
Discourse on “the field”: the nature of reality beyond the evolved conditions of human sight. Presentation of science discoveries’ implications corresponding to the wisdom traditions and secular spiritual experience. Explanation of ASM’s own experiences with “seeing energies” in normal awareness.
Part 3
Discourse on “human biology and subtle anatomy”: exposition of human anatomy from the organs to neurophysiology to cells and atoms. Conversation on how the body is a collective aggregate of many parts into a gestalt and the communication between all parts being taken up into the neurophysiological awareness.Implications of somatic psychology are briefly discussed followed by monologue on the scientific basis on the energetic fields generated by each part of the body. Brief overview on several systems that attempt to map the somatic-consciousness field. Concluding with a review of the insights and summary of the “whole-picture.” |
